Time Sink

Taft in a wet t-shirt contest is the key image here

The other day, I ended up spending a couple of hours reading about Interlac, Starro Clones, The Legion of Super-Heroes, Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes, Triplicate Girl [I think Dupli-Kate is a much more clever name], Ultra-Humanite, Per Degaton, Despero, and Delores Winters after simply wanting to find more information about the “Lightning Saga” story arc in the JLA comics. [What’s with Brad Meltzer‘s fascination of B and C-list DC characters anyway?]

Upon reading about Delores Winters, does that tiny scar on Emily’s forehead, right at her hairline, totally freak you out now?

The DCU is wide and deep. One man’s C-list character is another man’s obsession. And certainly different villains have ben featured more prominently during various eras for DC’s publishing. I’m always glad DC has such a deep bench for villains of various motives, MO’s, etc… It helps to keep things interesting.

Also, Despero is scary in a whole separate way from Darkseid.
